I was recently at a conference with my colleagues and heard from one of the top entrepreneurs in my business the ultimate in explanation for what defines an entrepreneur. Most people use the word entrepreneur very loosely and I think that the following will set the record straight.
As I see an entrepreneur is
It depends on you, your goals, your capability, your appetite for risk.
Not everyone is cut out to be an entrepreneur. Some are better off as salaried employees, while some are more willing and able to ride the ups and downs of self employment.
Many people want the freedom of owning their own business. Perhaps it is your life-long dream to own and operate your own small business.
But there are plenty of things that can go wrong. You have to know how to get your business off the ground and growing. The best way to go about this task is to find people who are knowledgeable about the field of small businesses. They have the experience and education to be able to help you create a thriving business.
