One of the many ways you can make money as a photographer is to specialize on events. Weddings, christenings, and lots of other events where people create memories can be well paid business. The great thing is that all you need is a stack of business cards, and a good camera.
Here’s how you can do it
You must be careful what events to cover if you want to make money. Only where people want to retain memories will it be worth your while.
One idea is to go to kids sports events. Get permission from the coach to click pics for the parents watching and then start clicking away. If you turn up with a great big telephoto lens like the ones used for pro coverage of events, you will be taken seriously. Make sure you get all the kids doing great action shots and then hand out flyers to all the parents watching with your web address. If you can write down the parents email address so you can email them the URL of you site then upload the pics to your web site that day and email everyone. If you have a simple shopping cart set up you can make money in a few hours as people pop in to see the pics and buy them for $20 or more a pop. Read Full Story...

Entrepreneurs often are so excited about their new idea they miss these key ideas to ensure their new business success.
Be persistent. Believe it or not but if you start-up is being difficult and you quit and go do something else you never accomplish the first goal, which is why you started on your own in the first place. All the hard work and effort are equity in your endeavor and if you are stuck, can’t beat the competition or can’t find the solution then just restructure the problem and look at it from a different way and keep moving.
Put spending on hold. Often overlooked by new entrepreneurs but I see it all the time. Depending on the type of business you are starting try to keep the cost down.
One way to do this is to start in your home or garage. Add a new phone line or use a cell phone for business. Don’t borrow money to do this. Trust me you don’t want to learn this lesson the hard way, like I did. So frequently I see new entrepreneurs investing tons of money in how the business looks like antique or custom cabinets, the finest this or that. Don’t do it. Start bare bones and see how things go from there. Read Full Story...

It would be nice especially after graduation when I have to start paying off school loans.
