Well, there has been a housing bubble that is bursting.
Land Development still offers a great potential for payout, however:
Pros: High profits, Build up your name well, influence with local and state groups, help shape the future development of a town/region.
Cons: Need lots of capital, High risk, Lots of local/state/fed regulations, very dependent on economic/market forces.
Some of the best entrepreneurships is in the techie fields. Computer/Electronics repair is still in very high demand.
There are lots others. Check out Entrepreneur magazine. They have lists of that stuff and articles all the time.
