I work in the private sector and find my work so mundaine and really boring. I have challenging projects, but they are not personally fulfilling. I am not interested in going back to school at this time. I am an entreprenuer at heart, and live in a medium size town. Please help with idea

EngineerD,
I can tell you from experience, the first two years suck. Boring. You are paying your dues. Lucky for you, 2 years is full payment now (it was 5 years for me).
Go to a small consulting firm. You will take on a wide variety of projects that YOU want. You will also get experience doing business development (which is always helpful).
Best of luck!
I work for L.A.county dept. of public works, maybe you should try there I haven’t heard any of the engineers complain about anything
Hi there, Great question!
Why not take advantage of your accumulated knowledge, experience and wisdom? People will pay for this! Did you know that? …. But how would they tap into it? Here’s how:http://passion.first411.com
Good Fortune to You.
PS: Nowhere is it written that you can’t be an entrepreneur. Maybe this is your link?
