    That depends on if you intend to personally do the lending or if you want to write loans for someone else. If you’re interested in writing loans for a mortgage company or bank, then at that point you are basically a loan broker/officer. I would suggest that if you want to get into that industry that you work for a mortgage brokerage firm or a bank to understand how to write loans, the laws involved and any licenses necessary. After that, if you want to persue it on your own, you’ll at least understand how the industry works. There is no better experience than real world training.
