Just trying to get a feel for what will better suit my future plans. I’m two years in and have roughly the same amount of classes done for both. If I’m going to flip them, nows the time.
I know I want to go into business and I really want to be an entreprenuer. However, my boss owns some businesses and he has his Masters in Psych and I do notice how imortant it is to read your customers and keep them happy. If business fails my back up options would be in the Advertising and Marketing fields, or being a psych teacher(which I would need more schooling for) or possibly teaching english abroad. What do you think would be best?

Any business majors will always go hand in hand with any other studies especially psychology. You will farther your degrees later for Master’s degree majoring in Industrial or Organizational Psychology- Behavior – which always work with any business majors.
What ever is your passion in life, degrees you earned seldom be used to gain you anything. What clicks you and your passion will be based on your wealth. Nothing will fail unless you make it happen-go where your passion is.
Teaching english abroad is merely a FAD. Anyone can teach English no matter how educated a person can be for as long as an individual can speak English. And mind you – teaching English abroad is not the same as Teaching English in America where you can digest every etymology of an English word or language. Often times teaching English abroad is mere converstional English -particularly learning idiomatic expressions. Anyone can teach that with out a degree!?!
Go where your heart tells you, but never go without a degree. That is always helpful in a long run.
Good Luck and Best Wishes.

Go with Business most people with psych majors have a hard time getting jobs without an advanced degree also I would think about specializing your business degree because I know people are having a hard time getting jobs with just a general business degree…just something to think about

I would agree with the above comments. Business degree’s offer more opportunity for undergrads. Psych will require you to go to grad school anyways, so you might as well expand your options with the business major now.
Marketing programs, btw, will often require students to take similar classes to psychology (such as consumer behavior). If both of these fields interest you, I would recommend a marketing major.

I have learned so much just by going back and working toward a Business Administration degree. I highly recommend considering that route, since it will be quite effective in almost any corporate business setting.

I would suggest you to go with business major since it is where you can see big bucks. If you get into psychology the chances are great that your financial struggles will not be compensated by the income you get once you did your psychology course. After the course completion you gotto do internship before start practising on your own. So get into a business degree. All the best for your career.

It is always advisable by the business gurus to go for a business major degree. Here you can get most of the things you needed to achieve. So, I would recommend you this one only. All the very best.
