Product review websites are a valuable resource for affiliate marketers and internet entrepreneurs. Whether you’re selling a product, or simply creating discussion and a reputation around one that you’re investing in, review sites play a massive role in making sure your product is represented as it should be in the online marketplace. Rather than letting your audience create discussion around your product, you can guide discussion in a way that benefits both your business and your customers, by providing informational resources and unique product reviews. The power of review websites is well documented, and they’re now widely implemented by internet marketers. Here are three tips to make sure that your review websites are well received, and create the results that you want. These were taken from my much more detailed free article.

1. Make sure your website looks professional and easy to understand. Remember, your visitor is going to decide in 3 seconds, whether to stay or go. The only way he or she will make that decision is on the first visual impression. Next your visitor will start scanning the site. If it’s hard to read or understand, then they’ll leave. Once those two hurdles are crossed, the next question is: Is this information believable? That’s why you must demonstrate that you are a serious expert who is going to save them time and money because you’ve done the research for them and you’re going to show and tell them which product will best fit their needs. Once they trust you, they will trust your recommendation.

When you’re making a review website, pull out all the bells and whistles. Hire fantastic writers in order to create the content, hire unique designers to create a high quality website design, and focus on quality over quantity. One high quality review will convert many more readers than ten ultra-low quality reviews will. Remember, people buy when they trust you, and sincerity and reputability are the keys to trust. Keep your review website quality high and you’ll keep your sales even higher.

2. Be creative in your review content. Don’t load it up with a bunch of keywords, don’t repeat what others have said, don’t look like everybody else. Sure it’s easier just to grab a few articles, slap a comparison-table together and put a buy button at the bottom. But that won’t make sales. It will actually turn your visitors off and turn them away. High value, high quality content will make many more sales than a mass produced obvious advertisement.

#3 – Regularly update your website. This one should be a no-brainer, but all too often it’s left untouched. Always update your review site, and keep all the reviews up to date and reliable. This creates an image of recurring success and satisfaction for your product, and is an important step in winning over a readers intentions. Don’t let your review site let you down, keep it up to date at all times and you’ll see the results in your commission payments.

In conclusion, your product review website needs to incorporate the concepts of quality design, thorough research, professional writing, and content that reflects the product as it currently exists. With these basic ideas, you’ll improve your conversion rate and you’ll earn more money.

You have seen that designing a product review website is an incredibly valuable, but not always easy way to increase your sales.
