Hi, I am currently trying to start a small business from home. I can draw portraits any size, of just about anything. But, I don’t have good enough credit to take out a loan for materials to advertise and was wondering if anybody knew of a website where I could advertise for free? Any help is appreciated

they do alot of advertising
or make a website

once you have an established website, you can send it in to google and they can advertise
also pin up leaflets in your local area
you can go to a market and offer your services there – that would probably be the best option

You can advertise for free in a number of places online, here is one:
Craigslist.org – A huge free online classifieds site. Just go there and create a free account, then find your city and search through the jobs and services categories to find the best for your service. For portraits I would choose Jobs: Art/Media/Design.
Bonus: Note that you may not have to advertise at all. You can go to Craigslist and look in those categories as mentioned, but instead of looking for a place to put your ad, look for someone already looking for your services. Then just reply to them.

Hi, I gathered from the question that you need to know where to advertise the portraits it can be through http://www.youtube.com or http://www.myspace.com where you can upload the portraits after taking their digital photos.
